VTAC Session for Year 12 Parents and Students
This VTAC Community Session provides an overview of the 2019 – 2020 VTAC application process, including researching courses, submitting an application, SEAS, scholarships, offers and the ATAR. An information session usually runs for an hour including questions.

La Trobe University Aspire Applications
La Trobe University's Aspire applications open on June 1st, 2019. Looking for Year 12 applicants who have gained valuable skills, knowledge and experience through volunteering or who have made a positive contribution to their community, Aspire applicants can head into their VCE exams with an early offer! Aspire applications close on 31st August, 2019.

LinkedIn for Students
On Wednesday 17th July our Year 12 students will attend a presentation on LinkedIn for students. Sue Ellson, an independent LinkedIn specialist, is coming to CGGS to run a specialisd workshop with our senior students. Sue is a regular presenter and trainer on various topics related to the online world. She is well known for delivering presentations that deliver useful practical information that is both current and relevant for people of all skill levels and cultural backgrounds.
2020 VTAC applications
Year 12 students will commence their 2020 VTAC applications on Tuesday 6th August. They will have individual appointments with Mrs Dolan, Careers Counsellor, to register and apply for up to eight course preferences through VTAC. Students also have this time to apply for interstate courses as well.

Welcome back! A very busy Term 3 Careers - with the upcoming 2020 Subject Information evening, Year 10 & VCE Learning Conversations (22nd July), Year 10 subject selection interviews, Year 11 change of subject discussions, Year 12 VTAC applications starting 6th August, Year 9 Learning Conversations (20th August), Mentoring lunch for Year 9, Transition to Tertiary (T2T) final breakfast for our Year 12s, and guest speakers on various topics throughout the term.

Bond University Scholarships
Bond University offers an extensive scholarship program to both domestic and international students, with values ranging from 25% scholarships to 100%. It is important to note that applications for the 2019 Scholarship Program for Australian Year 12 students opened on 23 April 2019. Students applying for the Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship must submit their application by 1 August 2010. The closing date for all other scholarships is 6 September 2019.
Scholarship applications should be submitted online, students should note that only one application needs to be made, and students can apply for as many scholarships they are eligible for.
